Counseling Fees

Individual: $185 (55 minutes)

Couple or Family: $205 (55 minutes)

Individual Neurofeedback Only: $125 (30 minutes)

Individual Neurofeedback and Therapy: $185 (55 minutes)

Payment can be made by cash, check (made out to Heart Rooted Counseling) or credit card (all accepted, including HSA).

Good Faith Estimate
Clients who are uninsured or who choose not to use insurance to pay for services are entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges. Learn more about your rights and how to request an estimate.

Insurance

I am paneled with most OH Medicaid managed care plans:

  • Aetna OhioRISE Medicaid
  • Anthem BCBS Medicaid
  • Buckeye Health Medicaid
  • CareSource (Medicaid and MyCare Dual)
  • UHC Community Plan Medicaid

For all other insurances, if you wish to use Out-of-Network benefits we have partnered with Mentaya (read more), or I can supply you with a superbill (receipt) which you submit for partial reimbursement.

Mentaya – Out-of-network benefit reimbursement

We’ve partnered with Mentaya, a service that streamlines getting reimbursed for your therapy sessions through out-of-network benefits.

Mentaya is perfect if you:

  • Have out-of-network benefits
  • Feel overwhelmed by superbills and insurance
  • Have submitted superbills but failed to get any reimbursement
  • Simply want to skip the hassle of paperwork!

Here’s how it works:

  2. Our practice will enter your sessions into the platform.
  3. Mentaya submits the claim and handles any insurance follow-up.
  4. You get reimbursed by insurance!

Mentaya charges a 5% fee per claim, which includes handling any paperwork required,
dealing with denials, and calling insurance companies.
